Eric Asimov from The New York Times claims “There may be no better hummus in town than Tanoreen's smooth and airy version…”   New York Magazine's Rob Patronite and Robin Raisfeld have described Rawia as “the eggplant guru” and she who “scatters (Tanoreen Spices) about like pixie dust”.  

He also hails “visiting Tanoreen without ordering lamb in some form seems as perverse as skipping the porterhouse at Peter Luger.”   Moreover, Travel and Leisure Magazine acclaimed Rawia “puts her competition in Manhattan to shame.”Due to the success of Brooklyn-based Tanoreen, Jumana Bishara, Rawia's daughter, has joined the team to further her mother's success.  

The Bishara family is currently exploring possibilities for expansion to a second location and development of gourmet food products.
